Julie, VOA

VETERINARY OFFICE ASSISTANT

Born and raised in Vancouver, Julie moved back to Vancouver in 2015 since living in Calgary with her partner for a number of years.

After spending over 6 years in customer service she finally decided to peruse her passion to work with animals and graduated from the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Granville College.  Currently, Julie is studying to be a Registered Veterinary Technician at Douglas College to further her skills and knowledge.

Julie is Fear free certified. Fear free is a set of techniques based on behavioural science to provide a low-stress environment for pets during their vet visits.

She has always had animals growing up in her life. And now her and her boyfriend have two dogs; Oakley and Nizmo, and two cats; Griffen and Tigger.  They love to spend time with them outdoors and try to head out into BC's beautiful backyard when not working. They also like spending time at Julie's parents property outside of Pemberton biking, swimming, and boating.  They are both happy to be back in BC.
